TRAVEL: BALI, INDONESIA (5D4N)

Summer is about to end soon,  and there is no better place to seize the last moment than sunny, chill, sandy beaches to get your skin tanned while listening to music and sipping a glass of smoothies or cocktails. 

I believe that many of you have been to Bali Island multiple times and feel like it's never enough places and foods to try, don't you? There are always new experiences to have a go at while staying in this small yet self-abundant island. 

So in this post I would like to share with you my 5 days 4 nights itinerary in Bali, also the  accommodation and where did we rent the car. My friend and I agreed to have a chill trip, hence we arranged two or three destinations a day. Probably some of you have been to the places I'll be sharing or you are looking for new recommendations for lodges and food, hope this post will make you want to travel again!

**We booked the tour days in advance via https://www.klook.com. Once we had completed the payment online, we got a bar code that was needed for collecting a boarding pass when we arrive at Sanur Beach (the meeting point). There is a booth where you can obtain the boarding pass and wait before the departure to Nusa Penida by boat. We suggest that you come earlier because it will take a while reaching the booth.**

ACCOMODATION

 CARA CARA INN
A very nice choice if you are a backpack traveler and want a simple yet cozy place to stay. The place is clean, staffs were friendly, location is easy to reach, and service are thorough. What I love about this hostel is the pool with hammock (yes!) and sun bathing area. The building itself is not spacious but you will experience a great time there all day. Oh at night they serve minibar in a van-shaped vehicle! 
OM HAM RESORT
is a perfect getaway place from city hustle and bustle. The neighbor was very nonchalant, especially in the morning and night. Om Ham offers great variety of body treatment such as yoga, spa, massage, etc, which you have to book in advance, otherwise you'd miss the slots. Typical of Balinese people, all the staffs there are soo friendly, they make you feel very welcomed. I highly recommend this resort for everyone who wants to have a relaxing getaway by yourself, your spouse or family :)

CAR RENTAL
As far as I'm concerned, there are countless car rental service in Bali, but I have known Bli Wayan since a friend of mine introduced me to him in 2013. Unlike my travel itinerary in 2014, which was handed down to Bli Wayan to arrange and had him drove us around Bali, this time I simply rent a car - Honda Jazz, (you can choose manually or automatically operated vehicle). The fee was IDR 350,000/day. Bli Wayan dropped the car by our hotel/accommodation and picked up the car at the airport on the day we left Bali, and additional charge of 100,000 was placed on us for the service. I guarantee his service is star rated, and he can speak English.
